Miami Beach Pride Festival and Parade Take Over Lincoln Road

Miami Beach's biggest Pride weekend arrives April 11 and 12, and the island goes rainbow. Miami Beach Pride Festival & Parade closes Ocean Drive for a Sunday parade that draws thousands, with the festival grounds stretching across Lummus Park into Friday and Saturday programming. Performers, DJs, food vendors, and a full entertainment lineup spread across multiple stages for the two-day run.

The Miami Beach Pride Parade is one of the longest-running in the South, and its route down Ocean Drive — past the Art Deco hotels and into the heart of South Beach — is one of the most photogenic in the country. Sunday afternoon brings the main festival on Lummus Park with live music, a massive food court, and an all-ages celebration that runs well into the evening.

If you're going: parade spots fill early — arrive by 10 a.m. for the best views along Ocean Drive between 5th and 14th Streets. Public transit via the Miami Beach Trolley is the easiest way in on Sunday; parking is near-impossible.
